Grammy-nominated artist and phonograph expert Michael Devecka will be discussing the impact of the invention that earned Thomas Edison the nickname the ‘Wizard of Menlo Park’.
On Saturday, June 15 at 11 am, our event The History of Recorded Sound with Grammy-nominated artist Michael Devecka will be held on the grounds of the Thomas Edison Center. Michael will demonstrate original phonographs and discuss the impact of Edison’s invention. Menlo Park is the birthplace of recorded sound, and this invention earned Edison the nickname, the ‘Wizard of Menlo Park’.
This is an outdoor event which will be held in a tent.
