At the Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park we offer a one-hour long fully escorted tour with the price of all admission where we hope to excite visitors with amazing stories about Thomas Edison and historic Menlo Park.
Tours run every half hour from 10 am to 3 pm. Our tours lead guests through Thomas Alva Edison’s life story, specifically focusing on his time here at Menlo Park, where he invented recorded sound and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Each tour includes the museum’s two galleries as well as entry to the Edison Memorial Tower. During the tour, guests will hear 120+ year-old Edison phonographs and be able to type on an original Civil War-era telegraph.
